Has anyone used PyroSim for an IFC 909.4 Rational Analysis for Smoke Controls? If so, did you present a video to the AHJ or just snapshot results?

Thanks for the reply. I am going to use PyroSim as part of the rational analysis for a smoke control project. It should be interesting, although not necessarily complex beyond learning the software. The fire marshal wants to see a simulation with pressure relationships of several zones and potential for smoke feedback after exhaust.

David, we routinely use FDS to perform a rational analysis in accordance with the IBC/IFC, with pyrosim being our interface to make them most efficiently. Our reports typically show slice files/still images of results. Sometimes we provide videos during meetings and presentations, but results in those videos can be misunderstood so it's very important to walk them through those.
