How do you set the age-specific walking speed in the profile,
and are there any recent papers that can be referenced?"

You would need to determine the walking speeds you would like to use and then make/edit Profiles to use that value, range, or distribution.
We do not provide values that you should input, maybe someone else can give you some pointers for reference.

Rodney,
Do you have any publications or data for this finding? I would like to know what to reference when accounting for this.

We found an interaction between age and walking speed in the generalization of walking patterns. More specifically, older adults generalized more when adapted at slower speeds, whereas younger adults did so when adapted at faster speeds.

Look for an "Edit Profile" or "Settings" option within the software. This is where you can make adjustments to your profile information.
